About the show
Dmytro Shurov, a renowned Ukrainian songwriter, pianist, producer and volunteer based in Kyiv will do a solo performance in Valencia where he will play his best-known songs as well as some Ukrainian classics in an informal atmosphere of an acoustic set. Lots of communication, musical improvisation together with the audience and story-telling will make this musical meeting unforgettable. Funds raised at the event will be used to purchase tactical medicine to support Ukraine.
“I can’t wait to share my music, energy and stories with you. In hard times like these live music and communication are the best ways to support each other and keep us alive emotionally. That's why over the last two dramatic years I’ve performed hundreds of shows for our militaries, refugees, played my piano at hospitals, abandoned airports, in deoccupied towns, many times in the middle of the forest close to the frontline. What you will hear is my best Ukrainian hits, some of the rock-n-roll pieces we all love and piano classics, as well as life stories which I’ve experienced plenty. My favourite part of each performance is when we create music on the spot together with people in the audience and that is something we will do a lot during this tour.”
